In Act 3 scene 1 Benvolio was persuading Mercutio to go beacause he doesn’t not want to fight the capulets. But Mercutio does not listen, then Tyblat and Petruchio appears. The reason that Tybalt apears is because he challenged Romeo to fight because he entered Capulets party and Romeo was not suppose to go to their party. ( Tybalt walks up to Mercutio and Benvolio) then Tybalts says to petruchio and the 5 others “Follow me closely, I’ll talk to them. (to the MONTAGUES) Good afternoon, gentlemen. I’d like to have a word with one of you.” After he talks to mercutio then benvolio comes in the converstion from no where and says !”We’re talking here in a public place. Either go someplace private, or talk it over rationally, or else just go away. Out here everybody can see us.” The reason he says this is because if they are caught fighting they will be banned from verrona. the reason they got a warning is because sampson and gergory was fighting with Abram and Tybalt
